A 26-year-old woman, the mother of two children, allegedly 'eloped' with a 15-year-old boy, the police said on Monday. The duo was working at a tent house and were also living in the same colony.
The woman, living with her husband, a four-year-old son and a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter in Sheetla Colony here, has been 'missing' since April 12.
Police on Sunday registered two separate FIRs under section 346 (wrongful confinement in secret) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Sector 5 police station.
"She worked at a tent house in the city and was missing from there," Dhramraj, the husband of the woman, said in his complaint.
"My teenaged nephew, who was employed at the same tent house went 'missing' from his office on April 22. He was also living in Sheetla colony," Bablu Yadav, a resident of Krishna Colony, said in his complaint.
Investigation officer Vedpal told IANS, "There was a gap of 10 days when the woman and the young boy went missing from their office. It may be to mislead the police and the family members."
Both were working together for months and the staff of the tent house told the police that there was a good chemistry between them.
