Mozambique defeated Seychelles Islands 5-1 here in the qualifications to the 2016 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) football tournament which is to be held in Rwanda.
After a disappointing performance in their last match against Rwanda last Sunday, Mozambican players recovered in style on Saturday. They scored thrice in the first half and dominated the second half by adding two more goals, reports Xinhua.
"I am very happy. It was an excellent exhibition from our players but of course we must continue working for the second leg," Mozambique's acting coach Helder Muianga said.
