Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday unfurled the Tricolour here and reiterated his commitment to the development of all sections of society in the state.
"The people of the state are my gods and their service is the service of god. We are making plans for the welfare of all sections of society in Madhya Pradesh," he said at the Lal Parade Ground here after unfurling the flag.
He also emphasised that women empowerment was one of his government's priorities and praised women for contributing to the state's self-dependence.
On the issue of farmers who could not avail of farm loans, he said his government would work to resolve the issue.
