A man in Madhya Pradesh's Chhattarpur district axed his two brothers and a nephew to death on Sunday following a family dispute over land.
According to the police, the incident occurred in Pura village early on Sunday when Bhagchand Patel allegedly killed his brother Devki who was asleep in the field. He went back to their home and killed another brother Thakur Das and nephew Akhilesh while they were also sleeping. He, however, failed to kill another nephew.
"We have registered a case. The accused is on the run," police official Shahzad Khan said.
