It was a muggy morning in the capital with the minimum temperature recorded a notch above average at 24.3 degree Celsius. The met office has forecast rain in some parts of the city.
"The skies will become generally cloudy and light rain could occur in some areas of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).
The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degree Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m was 80 percent.
Thursday's maximum and minimum temperature were recorded at 34.3 degree and 24.1 degrees Celsius respectively, an average for this time of the year.
