Parts of the capital received light rains Friday but the weather remained muggy. The Met office has forecast similar weather Saturday.
"The skies will remain partly cloudy tomorrow (Saturday) and some parts of the city might get light rains. The weather will be humid," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 33 and 26 degrees Celsius.
According to IMD, the capital received "traces" of rainfall Friday which are 'non measurable'.
The maximum temperature settled at 34.1 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season while the minimum was a notch above the average at 25.2 degrees.
The maximum humidity was recorded at 87 percent.
Thursday's maximum temperature was two notches above average at 36.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 23.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below average.
