Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo underwent a successful operation on his broken nose, according to the Italian club.
The Colombian player "underwent an operation this morning at Humanitas on the broken nose he sustained at the Copa America", the club tweeted on Wednesday.
"The operation was a complete success," Inter assured, explaining that Murillo would be at the disposal of coach Roberto Mancini starting next week.
The defender's nose was broken during the Colombia-Brazil tie in the 2015 Copa America group stage, hosted recently by Chile, reports Efe.
Murillo, 23, joined Inter last week from Spanish club Granada.
