Filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss's highly anticipated Telugu film with superstar Mahesh Babu will roll from 2016, cinematographer Santosh Sivan said on Thursday.

"Looking forward to doing the film with Murugadoss, Mahesh Babu next year," Santosh posted on his Twitter page.

This project will mark Murugadoss's return to Telugu industry after a decade.

Composer Harris Jayaraj has already been confirmed to compose the tunes.

It's also rumoured that the film will be simultaneously shot in Tamil with actor Vijay, who has already worked with Murugadoss twice.

Murugadoss is currently busy wrapping up his Hindi project "Akira" with Sonakshi Sinha.
