A rare display of harmony was seen in Ajmer on Friday when Muslims showered flowers to welcome an RSS procession taken out on Dussehra.
The procession started from Government Moiniya Islamiya High secondary School and was attended by many people.
State Education Minister Vasudev Devnani and Ajmer Mayor Dharmendra Gehlot along with several BJP leaders participated in the programme.
The procession was given a warm welcome by members of BJP Minority Cell under the leadership of district president Shafeeq Khan.
"When the procession reached Ajmer Dargarh, the workers of the minority cell showered flowers on them," said Rajendra Kumar Lalwani, senior RSS worker.
After passing through the main areas of the city, the procession concluded at Moiniya Islamiya School.
