Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani on Saturday said that her way of functioning in the government was not rude rather it was her duty to act with everyone in a certain sense of decorum and sensibility.
"My behaviour of functioning in the government is not at all rude. Infact, behaving in a certain sense of decorum and sensibility is my duty," Irani said in an interview to Times Now channel.
Asked about the transfers of bureaucrats and heads of the academic institutions, the minister said," My ministry doesn't issue transfer orders. I am not the in-charge of transfers. There are 100 bureaucrats changed in every ministry. My ministry doesn't choose their job."
"I am most written. Why, I don't know. May be I make a good copy," she said on being asked why was she all over the news every now and then.
