National Geographic Channel will telecast next month a film on the Hyderabad metro rail project, which is currently under construction, as part of its series on megastructures.

The premiere of 'Connecting the city of Nizams: Hyderabad Metro' will be Oct 19 at 6 p.m.

This is the first in the series of three films the channel is producing, said L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited (LTMRHL), the developer of Rs.14,132 crore project.

LTMRHL officials said this is the first time that National Geographic Channel would be showcasing a metro rail project under its series on megastructures.

It will focus on how the project has involved people and also the collaboration of some of the best engineers, planners and designers.
