Nepal quake toll reaches 8,151

The toll in the April 25 devastating earthquake in Nepal rose to 8,151 on Monday, police said.

As per latest updates from the Nepal Police headquarters, 7,941 bodies have been handed over to the kin of the deceased.

The number of the injured stands at 17,861.

A total of 4,573 injured were undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

Police said 269 people, including some foreigners, were still missing.

As of Monday, a total of 8,33,668 people have been displaced due to the quake, according to the government.
