New cartoon series to tell story of bears

"We Bare Bears", a new original animated comedy series from Cartoon Network Studios that is scheduled to go on air later this week, revolves around three bear siblings.

Grizzly, Panda, and Ice Bear are the three bears, and the show will tell their awkward attempts at assimilating themselves into human society, read a statement.

Grizzly leads his younger brothers, Panda and Ice Bear, with endless optimism that will only result in disaster. Whether they are looking for food, trying to make human friends, or scheming to become internet-famous, it is obvious that being a bear in the civilised, modern world is tough.

They have a lot to learn about the trendy residents that surround their humble Bay Area cave and find comfort in the fact they have each other.

Comprising of 13 episodes lasting 30 minutes each, "We Bare Bears" adds to the list of Cartoon Network Original shows like "Adventure Time", "Clarence", "Steven Universe" and "Uncle Grandpa", which have been launched in India.

Launched in 1995, Cartoon Network is currently celebrating 20 successful years in India.

The new show will go on air on Sunday.
