New CVC, CIC appointed

Former Central Board of Direct Taxation chief K.V. Chowdary was on Monday appointed the new Central Vigilance Commissioner, official sources here said.

Also, seniormost Information Commissioner Vijai Sharma was named the new Chief Information Commissioner, the sources said.
