A 24-year-old Nigerian man was assaulted and robbed by four unidentified people here, police said Tuesday.
Sam Bull was going towards Sangam Vihar area in south Delhi Monday night after attending a party, police said.
He lost his way and asked four men sitting in a car. The men offered him a lift which he accepted.
On the way, the occupants of the car overpowered him and snatched his wallet, mobile phone and cash. When he resisted, they also beat him up and dumped him in an isolated area, the man told police.
A passer-by found him, informed police and got him admitted to a hospital. Doctors said he was out of danger.
Police said Bull came to India four days ago and was staying in Sangam Vihar with five of his friends.
