Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav, younger son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, on Wednesday said Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is "more capable than Prime Minister Narendra Modi to become the next PM".
"Nitish Kumar is a PM material. He is is more capable than Prime Minister Narendra Modi to become the next PM of the country," Tejaswi told newspersons here.
Tejaswi has made it clear that he is neither capable for the top post now nor is his age suited for it. Tejaswi, a cricketer-turned politician, 26, said that Nitish Kumar is capable to run a central government and to rule the country.
He credited Nitish Kumar for transforming a backward state like Bihar into a number one state in terms of high growth rate, development, a first ranker in terms of ease of doing business and 22nd position in crime in the current report of National Crime Record Bureau - which he said are enough to prove his vast capability.
Earlier, Tejaswi described Nitish Kumar as his political guru and admitted that he has been learning from him.
