Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not hand over a chargesheet to his Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif during their bilateral meeting in New Delhi Tuesday, Sharif's National Security and Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz said here.
Aziz told a press conference here Wednesday that the meeting between Sharif and Modi in New Delhi was not just a photo op and its outcome proved better than anyone's expectations.
Aziz said India and Pakistan have held discussions on terrorism and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks for the last five years, Geo News reported.
He said issues pertaining to anti-terrorism were discussed during the bilateral meeting. The Kashmir issue was also discussed but not substantially.
The leaders of the two neighbouring countries agreed that terrorism was an issue of mutual concern and that they needed to address all conflicts to end the distrust between the two sides, Aziz said.
He also added that Sharif did not meet the Hurriyat leadership as it was a ceremonial visit to India.
