No new cases of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) were reported in South Korea on Wednesday for the fourth consecutive day.
The number of infected people remains at 182, the health ministry said. So far, 33 people have died, Xinhua news agency reported.
Two patients were discharged from hospitals as they completely recovered after being infected. The number of those discharged has risen to 97.
A total of 40 patients are still under treatment.
The number of those quarantined declined from 2,638 on Tuesday to 2,451 on Wednesday.
