Starbucks Coffee has expanded its India presence in Delhi and Mumbai by taking the total number of stores to 15.
Starbucks entered the Indian market in October 2012. The capital has seven of its stores, while Mumbai has eight.
Tata Starbucks Limited, a joint venture between Starbucks Coffee Company and Tata Global Beverages Limited, has recently opened three new stores across Delhi and Mumbai - at Greater Kailash-I, M-block market and Nehru Place Metro in New Delhi and at R-city Mall, in Mumbai.
"Each of our stores is strategically located in both cities and caters to people of diverse ethnic, income and age groups with varying tastes and interests," Avani Davda, CEO, Tata Starbucks Limited, said in a statement.
"We will continue to extend our presence in locations where our customers want and expect us to be to enjoy the unique third place between work and home," added Davda.
