State-run Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Friday launched a facility which allows subscribers to view online details about their accounts.
"The facility will help people to view accounts online. They earlier had to wait for long time to know about their account details," Labour Minister Sisram Ola told reporters after launching the facility.
According to the EPFO, the new facility will enable over five crore subscribers of its service to view updated accounts online without having to wait for annual provident funds (PF) slip.
EPFO is also working to provide next monthonline facility for PF account transfer for its subscribers who want to retain their accounts, but have changed jobs.
