Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday congratulated Janata Dal-United leader Nitish Kumar for the resounding victory of the Grand Alliance in the Bihar assembly elections.
"Heartiest congratulations Nitish-ji for a spectacular hat-trick win. I'm sure Bihar will march ahead under your leadership," Patnaik tweeted.
Nitish responded: "Thank you Naveen Ji."
Meanwhile, Congress workers burst firecrackers at the party office in Bhubaneswar to celebrate the win of the Grand Alliance in the Bihar polls.
State Congress president Prasad Harichandan said it was a mandate against the growing intolerance and false promise of "achhe din".
