Jeddah, July 6 (IANS/WAM) Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Iyad Ameen Madani has strongly condemned the recent killings of a number of people in a suicide bomb attack in Nigeria.
The bomb attack occurred at a popular market in Maiduguri of Borno state.
Madani expressed strong disappointment and sadness over the continuing acts of violence by Boko Haram terrorist group targeting innocent people, and conveyed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the Borno state government.
He further urged the authorities to intensify their efforts to end such acts of terrorism and violence.
