Olympic rowing races have been postponed again due to adverse conditions on Wednesday.

According to organisers, due to weather conditions, the world rowing federation's executive committee has postponed the racing, reports Xinhua.

No racing will take place on Wednesday. A new updated schedule will be announced after the team managers meeting later on Wednesday.

Rowing races were also postponed on Sunday due to technical installation difficulties caused by the strong winds.

On Saturday, high winds caused Serbian pair Milos Vasic and Nenad Bedik to capsize.

Several athletes like Zimbabwe's Andrew Graham Peebles from Zimbabwe and Australia's Kimberley Brennan, respectively in men's and women's single sculls, complained about the rough conditions.
