Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Thursday expressed happiness that Kashmiri all-rounder Pervez Rasool was picked up by Sunrisers Hyderabad for IPL 7.
"Very pleased to hear Pervez Rasool has been picked up by Sunrisers Hyderabad for #IPL7 Here's hoping he gets more games than when with Pune," Abdullah tweeted.
Rasool was picked up for Rs.95 lakh by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL auction Wednesday.
The captain of state's Ranji cricket team, Rasool has been picked up for the high-profile IPL championship tournament for the second time.
