The police here on Thursday arrested a digital marketing coaching centre owner for allegedly abusing Wing Commander Varthaman Abhinandan on Facebook.
Suresh Sakhla, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Jhotwara, told IANS: "A case has been registered against Tauseef Azar for allegedly abusing the Wing Commander after locals approached the police demanding his arrest.
Azar, however, denied the charges saying he wrote the post accidentally, Sakhla said.
The police have registered several cases against him under different sections of IPC.
The IAF pilot is in Pakistan's custody, after an air skirmish on the border on Wednesday, is likely to be released on Friday.
