One person was killed and two others were injured on Thursday when a three-storey building under construction here collapsed, authorities said.
The incident took place in Lahori Gate in Old Delhi.
"Construction work was taking place on the second floor of the building when it suddenly collapsed. Three labourers working at the site were trapped under the debris," a fire official told IANS. They were rescued and rushed to a hospital.
"One of them was declared dead while the other two are recuperating," the official added.
Police have registered a case against the owner of the building.
