One Maoist killed in Chhattisgarh shootout
A Maoist guerrilla was killed in a shootout with the security forces in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, officials said on Friday.
A pistol, hand grenade and articles of daily usage were recovered from the slain Maoist.
Bijapur Superintendent of Police K.L. Dhruv said the shootout took place near Chilkapalli village after Maoists opened fire at the security forces.
