Panasonic launches two new multi-function printers

Panasonic India on Monday launched two new models in the A3 multi-function printer (MFP) MB500 series, targeting small and medium-sized enterprises, government and corporate sectors.

While MB536 is priced at Rs 46,000, MB545 comes at Rs 65,000.

"The latest line of MFP series comes with cutting-edge Japanese technology and has Panasonic System sales division ambitiously aiming to acquire 15 per cent of market share in the 4-in-1 category," said Ajay Madan, Senior General Manager, PSN, Panasonic India, in a statement.

Apart from including printing size up to A3, MB500 series also comes with copy size up to legal and scan, fax, reversing automatic document feeder (RADF) and Wi-Fi.

While the MB545 has duplex speed of 45 pages per minute print/copy, the MB536 has duplex speed of 36 pages per minute print/copy, with either supporting a first-print-out time of approximately five seconds.

The MFP's have a monthly duty cycle of up to 150,000 pages and the lifespan of their toner cartridge lasts up to 25,000 pages.

Both the models are compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating system.
