Pankaj Advani comes out with personal mobile app

Ace cueist Pankaj Advani on Friday launched his own mobile application, and wants Swiss tennis star Roger Federer to come out with his app too.

Advani released his new app in collaboration with New York-based tech company Escapex. The app will enable fans to access Advani's social handles and get up close and personal with him through the in-app social feed.

"I'm always trying to interact and connect with my fans as well as with enthusiasts of the sport. After social media, this seemed like the obvious progression in doing so. It makes it more personalised and allows fans into my world," Advani, who feels Federer should have a personal app, told IANS.

Advani's app will enable fans to reach out to him and showcase their talent.

He says he would "love to share tips, not only on the sport or fashion but anything I have a decent understanding of and that can benefit users" through the digital platform.

Sephi Shapira, CEO at Escapex CEO, also said: "We are delighted and excited to launch the app of a supreme sportstar and champion Pankaj Advani. He epitomizes the highest level of excellence in his area of sports."
