Bablu in the past had told Kataria that cloth merchant Sanjeev Jindal usually carries Rs 15-20 lakh cash while returning home from Delhi.
"Kataria shot dead Jindal on July 16 around 10 p.m. near his house in Roshanpura here while he was returning from his business outlet in Delhi's Chandni Chowk but slain Bablu's information regarding having cash turned out to be false," the officer added.
