Spanish player Lucas Perez on Friday bade farewell to Deportivo de La Coruna after he was signed by the English football club Arsenal.
The forward has signed for four seasons, Deportivo president Tino Fernandez said in a press conference on Friday, reports Efe.
Fernandez also said he gave his best to the Spanish side and is leaving a proud man.
Perez said goodbye to the club and acknowledged that it is an important step personally and professionally to be chosen by a club like Arsenal.
He also thanked Deportivo for signing him from Greek side PAOK, adding that he was able to fulfill his dreams with the Spanish side when no one knew of him.
