A pilot died on Sunday when an Mi-28N helicopter gunship crashed at the Dubrovichi testing range in Russia's Ryazan Region during an air show.
The pilot died while performing a demonstration flight, while a second pilot has been admitted to hospital, Xinhua reported citing the media centre of the air show.
The helicopter gunship was part of a flight of helicopters performing aerobatics at the Dubrovichi testing range, about 170 km southeast of Moscow.
There were no injuries to ground personnel, and the audience was evacuated.
The air show, which was originally scheduled to last a few hours longer, was suspended.
