It was a clear and pleasant Sunday in Delhi and the maximum temperature settled at 22 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average. Monday is expected to see the same weather but could be cloudy in the day.
"The skies will remain clear on Monday after shallow fog in the morning. A partly cloudy sky is expected in the afternoon," said an India Meteorological Department official.
The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 23 and 10 degrees Celsius respectively.
On Sunday, the national capital woke up to a nippy morning but the minimum temperature was a notch above the season's average at 12 degrees Celsius.
The morning saw light fog, and the visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 400 metres.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 22 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, while the minimum was 12.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
