After a cloudy start Tuesday, the sky became clear. The minimum temperature was 9 degrees Celsius - two notches above average.
The visibility in the morning was 500 metres and train and air services were by and large not affected.
The India Meteorological Department said that Wednesday will be clear, though morning will be foggy.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 18 and 8 degrees Celsius respectively.
Delhi saw a sunny Monday with the maximum temperature recorded at 20.7 degrees Celsius, average for the season. The minimum was 7.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
