Karolina Pliskova of Czech Republic beat China's Zheng Saisai 6-3, 6-4 to win the women's singles title at the ITF women's circuit tournament south China's Hainan province here Saturday.
"I think I had a good week, I played good. I'm improving every day. Zheng wasn't playing bad, so I pushed hard, and it's a hard match really," Pliskova was quoted as saying by Xinhua.
The tournament attracted more than 60 players from 15 countries and regions including China, the USA, Russia, Australia and Thailand.
This year sees the third time for Sanya to host the tournament where the prize money has been to $50,000.
