The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will file next week a petition to review the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif as the Prime Minister, a media report said on Monday.

The PML-N's legal team was preparing the review petition, Geo TV said. The decision was taken by the PML-N Parliamentary Party on Sunday.

A petition was also filed in the Islamabad High Court challenging the notification issued by the Election Commission for Sharif's disqualification.

Sharif was disqualified from holding public office by the apex court for being dishonest to the judiciary and Parliament on issues related to his assets and income.
