Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz and visiting Israeli President Reuven Rivlin said Wednesday that their countries have agreed to step up efforts to further cooperation in various fields.
The two countries agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of research and development in the industrial sector, military and IT security, Xinhua reported.
On Tuesday, Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski and his Israeli counterpart jointly attended the opening ceremony of the "Museum of the History of Polish Jews".
During their meeting Wednesday, Kopacz and Rivlin also discussed the possibility of furthering efforts to "reconcile the Polish and Israeli society, including the extension of the exchange of young people between Poland and Israel".
