The Harayana discom has raided the houses of police officers after getting complaints of power theft, police said on Tuesday.
Nearly 20 vigilance officials raided the flats allotted to Haryana Police officers here on Mehrauli road, an official said.
Officials found that many families of police officers were involved in power theft and had tempered the electricity meters. More than a dozen families were issued tickets for power thefts.
"We are taking action according to rules," a Discom official told IANS.
