Gearing up for his new role as the head of Bharatiya Janata Party's election campaign for the 2014 general elections, Narendra Modi Sunday said that political life was a medium to change the system.
"There are many workers in the party whose name will never come in newspapers or on television. There are workers who have dedicated their life to the party and (their) many generations have served the party," Modi said.
"Political life is a medium to serve the people, we need to win and come in power so that we can change the system," he said while addressing the party workers here shortly after he was officially announced as the head of the BJP's campaign for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
