Porto beat Braga 3-1 here in the 27th round of the Portuguese league to remain third in the standings after their victory.
Silvestre Varela put Porto ahead in the 23rd minute with an effort that went over goalkeeper Eduardo's reach, following a great pass by Jackson Martinez Sunday, reports Xinhua.
Braga striker Moreno equalised in the 57th with a header. Porto's Carlos Eduardo made it 2-1 in the 86th, also with a header.
Colombian midfielder Juan Quintero secured the win for Porto in the 90th minute.
Porto is third in the Portuguese League with 55 points to Sporting's 63, while Benfica is at the top with 70 and just one victory away from clinching the title.
