FC Porto president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa announced the signing of Spanish striker Alberto Bueno, and confirmed that the club would try to keep Casemiro and Oliver on the team.

Da Costa confirmed on Monday that Bueno, whose contract expired with Rayo Vallecano, would dwell with the Dragons next season, while he also announced the return of Carlos Eduardo and Sergio Oliveira, who were out on loan during the current season, reports Efe.

Da Costa explained that the club, including general director Antero Henrique and manager Julen Lopetegui, has long been preparing for next season.

Bueno, 27, scored 17 goals in 36 La Liga games this season, and shone as one of the best players in the team.

Pinto da Costa also expressed his support for Spain's Lopetegui, who will presumably continue with Porto despite finishing the season without having won any titles.

He also noted that the club would not sign any players without the coach's consent, and added that Porto would try to keep the Brazilian Casemiro, loaned to Real Madrid, and Oliver, loaned to Atletico Madrid, although both players are likely to stay in Spain.

As for Cristian Tello, Pinto da Costa said that the striker is good for another year on loan with Porto and is going to stay, but stressed that, for now, the only player whose departure has been confirmed is Danilo, who was signed by Real Madrid.
