FC Porto routed Olhanense 4-0 to clinch first place in the 14th round of the Portuguese football league.
French defender Eliaquim Mangala scored the first goal in the 30th minute with a powerful header from the box, following a corner by Brazilian midfielder Carlos Eduardo Friday, reports Xinhua.
Porto started off well and moved up a gear in the second half, with another header by Colombian striker Jackson Martinez in the 50th minute.
Brazilian winger Kelvin Oliveira raced down on the left and crossed to Carlos Eduardo, who arched the ball deep into the net in the 82nd minute, and Mexican midfielder Hector Herrera closed the scoring just two minutes later.
Porto is now at the top of the league with 33 points, while Olhanense is 15th, with nine points.
