President Ram Nath Kovind will attend the 22nd convocation of NIMHANS in Karnataka on Saturday, a Rashtrapati Bhavan statement said on Friday.
The President left for Karnataka on Friday evening to attend the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences convocation.
Kovind will inaugurate the Seva Utsav 2018 organised by Adamya Chetana as well as the centenary celebrations of the National High School and will attend the H.H. Narasimhaiah birth anniversary celebrations in Bengaluru on Saturday.
Later in the day, the President will visit Bidadi in Karnataka's Ramanagara district to open the new campus of the Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Science and inaugurate the 111th year celebrations of the Basaveshwar Veerashaiva Vidyavardhaka Sangha, before returning to Delhi.
