The video of Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh's new song "Proper patola" has received over one million views online on Youtube in just a fortnight. He is glad to live up to the expectations of his fans.
The song, in which Diljit teams ups with rapper Badshah, was uploaded on YouTube Aug 8 and so far it has got 1,094,211 and still counting.
The lyrics of the song, which talks about a girl, has a urban and classy touch, which can grow on listeners easily.
"'Proper patola' is a song for my fans. I extend my thanks to all who have liked watching the song. I'm glad to live up to the expectations of all, and with their faith in me, 'Proper patola' has become a hit," Diljit, who was seen as the protagonist in Punjabi movie "Jatt & Juliet" and its sequel, said in statement.
Badshah has penned and composed the song, which has been distributed by Sony Music. The video was shot in Los Angeles.
