Actress Anita Hassanandani is back on the small screen and she will be seen essaying a romantic character in the debut episode of "Yeh Hai Aashiqui", which will bring various unconventional love stories.

"Yeh Hai Aashiqui", to be hosted by actor Vikrant Massey, will feature people entering into relationships, which are still considered a taboo in the society.

Starting Aug 25 on UTV Bindass, the episode featuring Anita, is the story of Tushar, a young photography student who meets Priyanka (Anita), wife of an army officer, while on his vacation and falls in love with her.

Priyanka reciprocates to his feelings, but their lives take a turn when the duo is stuck between the game of heart versus mind.

Last seen in the second season of "Gutur Gu", Anita said: "I'm excited about playing a romantic character after a really long time."

"The concept of the show is brilliant and very interesting as it reflects today's youth. They are more open and bolder, but then that's what love is," she said in a statement.

"One falls in love without thinking! I'm sure the audiences will connect with 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui' as it will feature stories inspired from real life," added the actress who also featured in "Kkavyanjali".

Along with Anita, young TV actors like Yuvraj Thakur, Charlie Chauhan, Jay Kanani, Sanjay Sharma and Vineet Raina will also be seen in the show.
