The opening match between Paris Saint-Germain and Amiens at Parc des Princes here will begin 15 minutes later than expected so the new PSG player Neymar can be presented to the public, the French Ligue 1 announced.
The match's starting time was set at 5.15 p.m. on Saturday after a request from the French capital club, said the French Professional Football League (LFP) in a statement on Friday, reports Efe.
The statement added that the decision was made after the approval of television channels set to broadcast the match.
Brazil international Neymar, 25, finalised a historic deal with his move from Barcelona to PSG, after paying his termination clause of 222 million euros ($263.4 million) and signing a 5-year contract with the French team.
