Fans of football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will be banned from travelling to Marseille to attend Sunday's Clasico game of Ligue 1 due to security concerns, French authorities have said.
Authorities in Marseille on Tuesday indicated that any PSG fans or any person who appears to be a supporter of PSG, will be prohibited from having access to Velodrome stadium where the match will be hosted, reports Efe.
This is not the first time such measures have been taken for security reasons.
The matches between Marseille and PSG are always considered high risk as there have been clashes between the two teams' fans during previous games.
In April 2015, Marseille fans threw stones at the bus carrying the PSG squad to Velodrome stadium.
