Dutch Eredivisie leaders PSV signed Argentine striker Maximiliano Romero from Velez Sarsfield, the Eindhoven based club announced.
The 18-year-old Romero signed a contract on Thursday until mid-2023, which starts on July 1 next year, reports Xinhua news agency.
PSV pay the Argentine club Velez Sarsfield 10.5 million euros (12.5 million U.S. dollars). If PSV decide to sell Romero Velez get 10 percent of the future transfer fee.
Romero already played 39 matches in the highest Argentine league, in which he scored eight times. This season he scored four times in 10 matches.
"He is a very talented player," said PSV's technical manager on the website of the club. "With him we invest in the future of PSV."
