Purav Raja-Divij Sharan win Mexico tennis tourney

India's tennis doubles pair of Purav Raja and Divij Sharan clinched the Abierto Mexicano Los Cabos title defeating Israel's Jonathan Erlich and England's Ken Skupski 7-6(4), 7-6(3) here on Tuesday.

Raja-Sharan have earlier won three professional titles this year.

"We are absolutely delighted to win 4 titles in 3 months, it's all the hard work paying off. Winning consistently is helping us play better and with this momentum we intended to break into the top 50 rankings," Raja said in a release.

Sharan also added, "We had a great week. The crowd was amazing, playing in front of so many people that came out to watch us. It was a very tight match and I'm glad we pulled it through. We have had some good results over the last couple of months so we are obviously playing well. Some of the losses in the semis were really close."
