Actor Daniel Radcliffe, who battled alcohol addiction once, says he often comes across drunk people who are comfortable sharing their problems with him.

"I've been people's confidant in pubs. Somebody will be drunk and start telling you something about their relationship with their parents. You can end up provoking a huge range of reactions," femalefirst.co.uk quoted him as saying.

Radcliffe, 23, rose to fame as boy wizard Harry Potter in the hugely successful movie franchise of the same name.
